    Stunning red silk cotton trees in Ha Giang prove hit among visitors

    During these spring days, red silk cotton trees, sometimes known as bombax ceiba, can be spotted on the mountain slopes near the Nho Que river and by the winding roads throughout the northern province of Ha Giang.

    Typically, red silk cotton trees bloom in early March, which coincides with peach blossoms entering their blooming period across the stone plateau of Ha GiangThe trees can be seen in full bloom across Ha Giang.

    Photographer Tran Doan Huy says red silk cotton trees are largely planted along National Highway 4C heading towards the Dong Van Stone plateau in Yen Minh district and the road towards Meo Vac district.Visitors can experience the area by boat in order to savour the scenic views from the water.
