Many visitors climb to the peak of Fansipan mountain to enjoy the stunning landscapes. Temperatures dropped from 10 to 7 degree Celsius on the morning of November 1.

The frost and ice are attributed to low temperatures in the north which began on October 30 and cold air sweeping through the region.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the night of November 1, and into the early morning of November 2, ice and frost are likely grip to Fansipan. The temperatures will gradually rise in Sapa in the coming days.
